J.I. Packer says..."True Christians are people who acknowledge and live under the word of God." The Psalms say..."Oh that my ways were steadfast in obeying Your decrees!...do not let me stray from Your commands...teach me Your decrees...let me understand the teaching of Your precepts...turn my heart toward Your statutes...may my heart be blameless toward Your decrees."
Father, I cry out for Your instruction, for it is the saving of my soul. My eyes search out Your word so that I may receive it and live. Your word reveals You to me and I am a partaker of Your goodness. Revelation comes to those who seek Your face and determine in their heart to know and obey Your Holy word.
